Video: Supporters Throng Lagos Airport To Welcome Tinubu After First Foreign Trip As President

Many supporters of President Bola Tinubu are at the moment thronging the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos to welcome him back home after his first official visit out of the country as the number one citizen of Nigeria.

GWG.ng reports that President Tinubu travelled out of the country a week ago to France for the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, in Paris.

Following the summit, the president proceeded on what his aide, Dele Alake described as a private visit to the United Kingdom. No details of that visit have been given but Alake had promised that the president would return to the country before the Eid el Kabir festivities.

GWG.ng had also reported that the president is expected to celebrate the festivity in his Lagos home.

Ahead of his return direct from the United Kingdom to Lagos, a number of supporters notably women supporters were thronging the Lagos Airport to welcome him home.

The president is expected to return to his Abuja base after the Islamic holidays.

The supporters have been singing and encouraging themselves with songs in praise of Tinubu while awaiting his arrival at the Lagos Airport.
