Lawmaker Stopped From Assembly Complex After Arriving In Keke (Video)
An incident involving a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Udemezue Bernard Abuchi, representing Ayamelum constituency, has stirred a social media storm after he was denied access to the assembly complex for arriving in a Keke NAPEP.
A video circulating online captured the moment when the lawmaker made a dramatic entrance in the tricycle. However, his attempt to enter the assembly building was met with a roadblock. Security guards stationed at the gate did not lift the barricade, preventing his entry.
In an exchange caught on camera, the tricycle driver informed the visibly displeased legislator, “Oga, dem say keke no dey enter.” Undeterred, Hon. Udemezue disembarked from the tricycle and confronted the security personnel, questioning their decision. He rhetorically asked, “You give me car? Have you given me a car? Is it not what I have that I will use?”
