Singer Spyro Raises Concerns Over Lyrics Promoting Fraud in Shallipopi’s Latest Track

Nigerian singer Spyro has expressed concern about his fellow artiste Shallipopi, accusing him of incorporating lyrics that could potentially promote fraudulent ideas among listeners.
In a recent discussion on the Honest Bunch podcast, Spyro brought attention to Shallipopi’s utilization of the phrase “Para dey body” in his popular track titled “Elon Musk.”
Spyro contended that the phrase “para dey body” normalizes fraud, asserting that contemporary notions of the devil’s appearance differ from the past. According to him, the devil now manifests through subtle suggestions rather than the stereotypical imagery of horns.
The singer stated, “Our thoughts and expressions shape our actions. Uttering ‘para dey body’ just before engaging in certain activities can be the starting point for fraudulent behavior. It’s fascinating how our minds absorb information, and once internalized, it influences our thoughts like a constant tune.”

Spyro emphasized that many perceived attacks on individuals may not take the form of traditional evil, but rather as insidious suggestions that shape behavior and attitudes.
GWG.ng reports that the callout from Spyro follows concerns from some sections of society of the bad influence that some celebrities could weigh on their followers when they do not apply their popularity to good use.
