Mohbad Gave Me N1 Million Before His Death — Idowest

Nigerian musician Idowest has revealed that late singer Mohbad gave him N1 million before his death.

He said this in a tribute he shared via his Instagram page, reminiscing about the moments he spent with Mohbad and the kindness he experienced from him.

Idowest recounted a recent conversation he had with the deceased when they spoke about the challenges he (Idowest) was facing.

Mohbad, in a show of empathy and understanding, reassured Idowest that he had experienced similar difficulties and could relate to his struggles.

The two friends not only talked but also spent quality time together, playing tennis in Mohbad’s new home with his family.

Mohbad showed his guest around, including his new studio, which was under construction, and played unreleased songs for him.

Idowest revealed that Mohbad even called his mother to offer prayers for Idowest.

As Idowest was leaving, his host surprised him with a generous gift of one million naira.

Idowest was taken aback by the gesture and asked why he had received such a significant amount. Mohbad’s response was that Idowest had helped him in the past.
