Keke Driver Mocked For Returning ₦15m Rewarded With Four Wives
In a heartwarming follow-up 22-year-old Kano-based commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) driver, Auwalu Salisu, who gained recognition for his exceptional honesty in returning ₦15 million to its rightful owner, has been offered the opportunity of choosing four wives out of ten maidens selected by the matchmaking association in Kano.
Salisu’s remarkable integrity has earned him an offer many might only dream of: the chance to choose four wives at a go from among ten potential wives.
GWG.ng had reported that Salisu, a resident of Yankaba in Nasarawa local government, made headlines for his unwavering commitment to honesty after discovering a substantial sum of money in his tricycle. The money belonged to a businessman who had traveled from Chad to Kano, Nigeria, for business purposes.
GWG.ng reports that despite the acclaim and admiration he received for his honorable actions, Salisu also faced ridicule and mockery from most of his friends, who couldn’t comprehend his decision to return the substantial sum. Only a select few applauded him for his unwavering integrity.

In an incredible show of support and appreciation, a matchmaking group decided to honor Salisu for his honesty.
The group, led by Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, Chairman of the association, pledged ten women for Salisu to choose four to marry. Remarkably, two of these women are the chairman’s own daughters.
Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai praised Salisu Auwalu’s outstanding character, describing him as a living embodiment of the virtues exemplified by Islam and the four wives as a fitting reward.
Slisu’s unwavering trustworthiness and honesty were undoubtedly the driving forces behind this unique honor.
