Red-Hot Boniface Makes Team Of The Week

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been named in the Bundesliga Team of the Week.

It’s the third time the Nigeria international will be included in the Team of the Week this season.

Boniface scored a brace in Leverkusen’s 4-1 drubbing of Bundesliga new boys Heidenheim on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old has scored eight goals and provided three assists in seven games across all competitions for Die Werkself since his arrival at the club this summer.

The forward won the Bundesliga Player of the Month in August.
