‘If You Kill Yourself…’: Naira Marley’s Last Video Call With MohBad Emerges
A video believed to be the last conversation between popular singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and his late former record label signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, popularly known as Mohbad has emerged.
Recall Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the next day in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Following the death of the 27-year-old singer, some Nigerians have called out Naira Marley and some members of Marlian Records, including Sam Larry.
Naira Marley, however, on Tuesday in a statement released on his Instagram account distanced himself from Mohbad’s death.
Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri on Wednesday shared a video of Naira Marley and Mohbad conversing.
Naira Marley said in the video, “You said you are not feeling so anymore, but one hour ago you felt like killing yourself and you still surround yourself with the things stressing you. The last time you made a video saying if anything happens to you, Naira Marley and the Marlian team should be held responsible, but now you want to kill yourself.”
Mohbad responded, “I don’t even know how to explain to you right now.”
Naira Marley asked, “But one hour ago, you said you felt like killing yourself… If you kill yourself, what do you think people will say after you’ve made a video that I was after your life?.”
Mohbad replied saying, “Please don’t be angry.”
