Atiku To Speak Thursday On Tinubu’s ‘Discovered’ School Records

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has scheduled a World Press Conference for today, Thursday to talk about the controversial released academic records of President Tinubu. 

Dele Momodu, one of Atiku’s campaign spokespersons, revealed this on Wednesday night.

The reason for the conference is speculated to be related to President Bola Tinubu’s recently revealed academic records by Chicago State University (CSU).

Atiku had wanted the documentation to back up his claim that Tinubu forged the CSU degree.

The claim of falsification was one among several dismissed by the presidential election court in Atiku’s suit challenging Tinubu’s election.

According to Caleb Westberg, the registrar of Chicago State University, Tinubu’s certificate, dated June 22, 1979, and submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on June 17, 2022, was not issued by the institution or its authorities.

Westberg, who has been a registrar at the University since November 2020, also stated that Tinubu did not seek or receive a new certificate.

Although the certificate issue has dominated the news in the previous 48 hours, Atiku has remained mum on the subject.
