Biden Arrives Israel, Movement Restricted As Emotions Swell After Gaza Hospital Blast

President Joe Biden has arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel on a mediation trip that has been ruptured by the fiasco over the explosion in a Gaza Hospital that killed more than 500 persons in the facility run by the Anglican Church.

GWG.ng reports that Biden who stepped down from Air Force One shortly after 9.00 a.m. (Nigeria Time), is going to have his movement around Israel strictly curtailed on account of security concerns given that the Secret Service was not given enough time to comb the itinerary as it normally would.

GWG.ng further gathered that the presidential automobile christened The Beast which is capable of surviving bomb attacks is not available and there is a high collaboration between Israeli security and the Secret Service.

The security nightmare for the Secret Service is further compounded by the rain of Hamas rockets being sent into Israel since the outbreak of the war. Though the rocket rain has decreased in recent days there are concerns that President Biden could be filmed scrambling for cover in the event of a rocket alarm.

GWG.ng further gathered that the number of people that President Biden will meet during the visit to Israel has been seriously limited and though the visit to Jordan for a summit with Arab leaders cancelled but that the president will work the telephone to reach all the Arab leaders.

Among those he is meeting are Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the families of those affected by the Hamas attack.
