Renowned online chef, Chef Dammy, has revealed her harrowing experience living in fear and facing continuous threats from individuals she referred to as “men of God” following her attempt to break a world record, similar to that of Hilda Baci, in the Guinness World Record competition.

Chef Dammy gained significant attention online when she endeavored to surpass Hilda Baci’s record of 120 hours of continuous cooking. However, instead of accolades and support, she found herself subjected to a barrage of threats, curses, and insults from certain religious figures for months after her cook-a-thon.

In a candid write-up, Chef Dammy disclosed the shocking extent of the attacks she faced. She shared disturbing quotes, such as, “By the time we are done with you, you will not be able to stand on your feet again,” which came from those she referred to as the “people of God.” She questioned the irony of such behavior, pondering whether these individuals, who should exemplify godliness, were acting in a manner contrary to their beliefs.

Chef Dammy expressed her deep fear for her life, revealing that she had even come close to death recently due to the stress caused by the ongoing threats. Despite the relentless attempts to destroy her, she remained resilient, crediting her strength and courage to her faith in an “undefeatable God.”

In her emotional piece, she emphasized her determination to continue moving forward, refusing to be silenced by the intimidation she faced. Despite enduring this ordeal for four months, she vowed to hold onto her peace and share her story as a testimony for others to learn from.
