Rita Edochie In Fervent Prayers For Mr Ibu After Amputation (Video)

Renowned Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has displayed her solidarity by visiting the hospitalized actor, Mr Ibu, who recently underwent a leg amputation procedure.

Rita shared a heartfelt video from her visit to Evercare Hospital Lekki Phase 1, where she fervently prayed for Mr Ibu and his family.

In the video, Rita Edochie can be heard offering prayers, while Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris Okafor, responded with heartfelt “Amens.” Captioning the video, Rita emphasized the importance of collective prayers for Mr Ibu’s recovery: “I went to see Ibu John Okafor at Evercare Hospital Lekki Phase 1. He is doing well but all we owe him is to keep praying for him.”

GWG.ng reported that Ibu’s daughter, Jazmine, had previously shared updates on her father’s health, indicating his gradual improvement after multiple surgeries. Unfortunately, on Monday, November 6, it was revealed that Mr Ibu had to undergo the amputation of his leg after a series of medical procedures.

GWG.ng reports that while Rita Edochie’s visit to Mr Ibu following the amputation and the fervent prayers she offered will be welcomed but some would be taken aback by the fact that she broadcast the prayers. Some will indeed put it to her that Jesus reminded His followers that their prayers should be in secret.
