Bayelsa 2023: Hoodlums Hijack Election Materials
Hoodlums on Saturday attacked some polling units in the Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State during the governorship election and escaped with election materials.
It was gathered that the hoodlums came with sophisticated weapons and shot at voters who attempted to stop them.

The thugs who arrived at Agorogbene in units 6, 7 and 8 in Ward 11 of the Local Government Area around 9am, allegedly escorted by a certain politician and chased away voters while they also destroyed election materials.
The armed thugs also stormed the RAC center and carted away election materials for five out of the seven units.

At Famgbe in Yenagoa local Government, thugs were engaged in gun-duel with security agents, with some recorded casualties.
