Kogi: Dino Melaye Loses Big In His Local Government

The candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the Kogi State governorship election, Senator Dino Melaye has faced a setback after losing his Ijumu local government to Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The LG Returning officer, Dr Samuel Obasan, declared the results, revealing that APC emerged victorious in the local government area with 19,524 votes. PDP trailed behind with 6,909 votes, while the ADC secured the third position with 1,898 votes, and the SDP garnered 356 votes.
