Video: Tinubu Resorts To Prayers After Riyadh Diplomatic Duties
President Bola Tinubu has wrapped up his official duties in Riyah, Saudi Arabia, with a significant spiritual undertaking — the performance of the Umrah rites in the revered city of Makkah.
This noteworthy development was brought to light by Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the President, who shared the information on the President’s official communication platform on Sunday night.
During this profound spiritual pilgrimage, President Tinubu devoted moments to offering prayers for the prosperity of Nigeria while seeking divine guidance for his leadership.
Abdulaziz provided deeper insights into the President’s spiritual journey, conveying, “His Excellency President Bola Tinubu took time off at the end of his official engagements in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to perform the lesser Hajj (Umrah) earlier today in Makkah. He used the opportunity to pray for Nigeria’s greatness and divine guidance for him.”
Significantly, President Tinubu’s participation in the lesser Hajj closely followed his engagement at the Saudi-Africa Summit hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 10 and 11, 2023.
President Tinubu’s decision to perform the umrah and make prayers for Nigeria follows the burden of governance facing him from insecurity, challenges in the economy among others that make it imperative to seek spiritual help.
