Video: How Nollywood Stars Celebrated Controversial Prophet Odumeje’s On His Birthday

Prophet Odumeje, the flamboyant clergyman who recently marked his 41st birthday, took center stage in a spirited celebration that garnered attention from Nollywood heavyweights and his dedicated followers.

The vibrant festivities, capturing the jubilation at his church in Onitsha, Anambra State, flooded social media with videos showcasing the lively event. Notable Nollywood stars, including Kanayo O Kanayo and Zack Orji, were prominently featured, adding to the grandeur of the celebration.

In videos circulating online, fervent church members inundated the pulpit, creating a visually stunning cascade of cash showered upon the charismatic prophet. The contagious festive mood extended beyond the church walls, with Nollywood superstars like Zack Orji, Victor Osuagwu, and Jerry Amilo seen beaming with smiles as they joined in the revelry to celebrate the clergyman’s special day.

GWG.ng reports that the celebration of Prophet Odumeje’s 41st birthday came after Nigerian gospel Artiste, Omotola Ekerin, popularly known as “Omotola Sax”, on Saturday expressed concern over how youths in Nigeria continue to embrace and consume illicit drugs.

Ekerin, an award-winning female saxophonist, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that it was time the society rose up against the menace of illicit drug consumption.

The gospel artiste said that because of her concern, plans were in top gear by her team to sensitise Nigerian youths on the dangers of drug abuse on Nov. 17.

She said that the sensitisation would be ahead of her concert which would hold on the same day.

Omotola Sax said that the theme of the sensitisation was, “Renewed Hope For Addicts”.
