In a not-so-subtle move, Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken to her social media page to throw shades ostensibly at Judy Austin, her nephew Yul Edochie’s second wife, asserting that she, Rita was legitimately married and accepted by her husband’s family.

She did it by sharing an old video from her wedding.

Known for her candid Instagram posts, the seasoned actor recently posted a throwback picture from her wedding day, accompanied by a caption that hinted at a sense of legitimacy and acceptance within her husband’s family.

In the caption, Rita Edochie made it clear that she was “LEGITIMATELY MARRIED AT AGE 22 IN 1990,” emphasizing the lawful nature of her union. She further highlighted the warm reception she received from her husband’s family, including both nuclear and extended members, contrasting her experience with those who might have faced challenges in gaining acceptance.
