A Nigerian Air Force aircraft guided by Operation Whirl Punch (OPWP), has successfully take out a notorious terrorist leader, Boderi, and his associates in their hideout in Tsauni Doka, located in the Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI), Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the airstrikes following intelligence reports pinpointing the presence of Boderi and his foot soldiers at Tsauni Doka.

The precision airstrikes were executed in the early hours of November 16, 2023, resulting in significant damage to the terrorists.

The statement highlighted additional successful strikes carried out approximately 500 meters east of Boderi’s hideout, believed to be the location of Boderi’s brother, Nasiru. The outcomes of these operations were deemed highly successful, leading to the neutralization of several terrorists and the destruction of their motorcycles.

Boderi, Nasiru, and their associates were implicated in numerous attacks and abductions along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road, as well as in various communities spanning Niger and Kaduna States. The operation marks a critical advancement in efforts to counteract terrorism and enhance security in the region.

GWG.ng reports that with the death of Boderi experts will be waiting to see the impact on the activities of terrorists in the Kaduna region.
