Wunmi Ajiboye addressed the seven-year effort she put into giving her mother a befitting burial, revealing that MC Oluomo contributed financially in support of her philanthropic initiatives. She expressed frustration at being overshadowed by false rumors and clarified that the appreciation message did not diminish her commitment to her husband, Segun Ogungbe.

Refuting claims made by gossip blog Gistlover, which alleged that MC Oluomo played a role in her separation from Segun Ogungbe, Wunmi maintained that she would not be bullied into silence and stressed her determination not to succumb to false news and rumors.
