In the midst of the ongoing controversy surrounding Israel DMW’s marital struggles with estranged wife Sheila Courage, Nigerian artiste Portable has entered the discourse, offering a unique perspective on marriage.

In a social media video, Portable shared his views, suggesting that if DMW Israel had followed his example and married multiple wives – a total of four in his case – he might not be facing the current predicament. The artiste, known for his polygamous lifestyle, emphasized the advantages of having multiple wives, stating that it provides additional options and support in times of trouble.

While acknowledging his own status as a “lover boy,” Portable underscored the practicality of having more than one wife, ensuring he takes good care of each without issues. He argued that in the event one partner decides to leave, there’s always another to fall back on.

GWG.ng reports that the controversy surrounding Israel DMW’s marriage came to light when he took to Instagram to share details about his troubled relationship with Sheila Courage. Despite initially boasting about marrying a virgin, their union faced challenges, and signs of trouble emerged when Sheila removed all traces of Israel from her Instagram page in August 2023.

Israel’s attempts to reconcile were met with resistance from Sheila, who dismissed his overtures as mere dreams. Sheila later took to her own Instagram to disclose the reasons behind their split, citing allegations of physical and emotional abuse, accusations of intentional pregnancy avoidance, and relentless trolling that included insults directed at her mother.
