In response to the widespread discontent among Nigerians regarding the 1411-member delegation to the COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, popular singer Davido took to social media to share his perspective.

The outrage particularly targeted the presence of TV personality Toke Makinwa and others at the summit.

Davido humorously pointed out that anyone currently in Dubai might hesitate to share their experiences, fearing criticism and assumptions about their purpose at the conference. He acknowledged the amusing nature of the public reaction to the delegate list but expressed his love for the overall response.

In a post, Davido quipped, “So, someone who just went to have a good time in Dubai can’t even post their pictures now. It’s hilarious AF… I love it.”
