By Eze Dike
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has now either scored or assisted against every Premier League side he has played against. He is now just the second player to achieve that feat in Premier League history after his England teammate Harry Kane.
The 21-year-old with ancestry to Nigeria provided an assist in Arsenal’s remarkable 4-3 away at Luton Town. It means Saka has now contributed to a goal against 25 of the 25 teams he has faced since making his Premier League debut in 2019.
He has gradually become the Gunners’ talisman winning the club’s Player of the Season award for the past two years. He is also the youngest player since Cesc Fabregas to make 200 appearances for Arsenal. In October, Saka was also named in the top 30 list for the Ballon d’Or at the award ceremony in France.
GWG.ng reports that Bukayo Saka has already scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 2023. He also has four goals and two assists in the Champions League this campaign. His performances have propelled Mikel Arteta’s team to the top of the Premier League table and also their Champions League group, where they have already secured qualification with a game to spare.
