Peter Idehen Responds To Ex-Wife Patra’s Accusations, Denies Abandonment

Peter Idehen, the ex-husband of Patience Patra Idehen, the lady behind the Face of Beauty Nigeria, has broken his silence in response to allegations made by his ex-wife, of exploiting and abandoning her along with their children.

Patra, known for running the once-popular brand Face of Beauty Nigeria, had shared her side of the story in a video, narrating their relationship struggles.

Patra claimed that trouble began when she bought a car in her name, which upset her ex-husband. She mentioned selling the car at his request and later selling the house she was building to meet financial needs. According to her, Peter left for a course, later revealing he was not coming back and had emotionally checked out of the marriage since 2019.

In response, Peter denied abandoning Patra and their children, asserting that he traveled to work and consistently checked on them, with Patra reportedly assuring him that everything was okay. Peter’s video aims to present a different perspective on the accusations, highlighting the complexities and differing narratives in their relationship.

Two months ago, GWG.ng reported that Patience Egbor, the CEO of Face of Beauty Nigeria, had taken to social media to share her heartbreaking story. Once financially thriving, she found herself in dire straits, begging for alms online after being given a quit notice to vacate her rented apartment.

According to her, “following the accomplishments through the Face of Beauty Nigeria peagent, her husband’s envy led to controlling behavior. He forced her to sell her first car, which she had bought in her name, causing a significant financial setback. The situation worsened when they moved to Lagos with their two children. Her husband abruptly abandoned them, claiming their marriage had long been over”.
