Amid Controversy, Man Who Married Two Girlfriends Same Day Gets Support
In the midst of the social media storm surrounding Ghanaian man Michael Houston, who recently married two girlfriends on the same day, a woman named Favour Mawusi Kpeli Semabia has stepped forward to defend his unconventional choice.
Following widespread criticism directed at Michael Houston for his polygamous decision, he responded to the backlash. However, it was Semabia’s comment on the post that caught attention as she voiced her support for the man.
In her comment, Semabia expressed that Michael deserves respect and understanding for his decision. She emphasized that individuals should not feel obligated to explain their choices to others. She further compared Michael’s situation favorably to men who marry one wife but maintain multiple extramarital relationships.
“The truth is that you don’t owe anyone any explanation at all. Those who left were never friends. It’s better they left. Those who stayed may or may not be friends, so be careful. Some may just be CCTV’s waiting to capture negative news,” Semabia wrote in her comment.
She applauded Michael for making a choice that he believes is best for him, highlighting that his decision is preferable to those who engage in deceitful behavior by having multiple side relationships while being officially married.
Semabia concluded her comment with a word of caution, advising Michael to be mindful of his circle and keep certain aspects of his life private. She stressed the importance of safeguarding his family from potential dangers that may arise from public scrutiny.
