‘We Are Hungry”– Angry Lagos Residents Tell Tinubu (VIDEO)
There was drama and commotion as residents of Lagos Island and traders of the popular Idumota market on Saturday expressed dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu, shouting in Yoruba, “Ebi npa wa oo” meaning- we are hungry.
The traders lined up on both sides of the road as the convoy of the president passed through the ever-busy market.

It was an unusual trip for the president as the residents refused to hail him as usual. Instead of the hail and cheers, the residents who lined the route to catch a glimpse of the president instead kept talking of the pains they have endured since the advent of the President’s administration.
Underneath the complaining voices in the video, residents were heard saying the presidency had known the plans of the people which was the reason for the heavy security. However, the alleged initial plan was not made known.
The President is in Lagos to celebrate both Christmas and New Year.
