Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has expressed gratitude to God for His unwavering support despite facing challenges with her ex-lover, Geroge Wade in the year 2023.

In an Instagram post, she shared an angelic video, reflecting on the difficulties she encountered around the same time last year emphasizing her status as a Child of Grace.

While refraining from specific details, Njamah acknowledged divine deliverance and revealed having countless testimonies from the incident that shook her in 2023. She extended thanks to God and everyone who supported her during this trying time, expressing amazement at the depth of God’s love for her.

Her post reads, “Happy New Year to everyone … Same time last year the devil touched the wrong person (you know the story) but as a child of grace, the mighty God came through for me, ever since my testimonies are endless, who am I that God loves me so much? My appreciation goes to God almighty and every soul who stood by me, with a thankful heart I say Happy New Year and God bless.”

Recalling the events of the past year, Geroge Wade, Njamah’s ex-boyfriend, allegedly leaked her nude videos and demanded $450,000 in blackmail. The actress bravely shared her ordeal online, exposing the domestic violence and abuse she endured at his hands.

Njamah’s Instagram account was hacked during this time, and the hacker posed as her, falsely claiming engagement. The actress revealed she made the engagement post under duress, fearing blackmail. The scammer, identified as George Wade from Liberia, gained access to her account, phone, contacts, email, bank account, car, international passport, and other valuables.

Njamah raised awareness about the scam and called on the Nigerian police for assistance. George Wade was later arrested by the Liberian Police for victimizing over 20 women. He is notorious for blackmailing and duping women, often resorting to leaking compromising pictures of prominent individuals. The incident serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of online scams and the need to be vigilant in dealing with unknown individuals.
