Tunde-Ojo on allegations

The Minister of Interior, Honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has debunked the allegations that a company owned by him got contracts of N438 million from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs headed by Beta Edu.

Tunji-Ojo as such denied the allegations of contract racketeering saying that he was ignorant of the day to day operations of the company.

“I came into office with a commitment to base my service on sincerity of purpose and openness obviously because I believe that Nigerians do not deserve to be kept in the dark in terms of public office operations.

“I saw the allegations made against me and I was shocked because five years ago, I had resigned from the company in question as a Director.
