Kelly Joy Wanyoni, a white American woman, has revealed the extraordinary lengths she went to in order to be with the love of her life in a Kenyan village. In a candid interview, the missionary shared the remarkable journey of selling all her properties in America to build a life with her Kenyan husband, Alberta.

Their unique love story began with a divine revelation. Kelly described how God gave her a vision of Alberta, marking the start of their connection. Despite having rejected several suitors previously, Kelly embraced God’s message and allowed herself to develop feelings for Alberta, whom she believed was destined to be her husband.

“In my heart, I was hurting because I was falling in love with Alberta because God told me he is my husband, so I allowed myself to have feelings for him,” Kelly expressed in a TikTok video.

The missionary recounted the sacrifices she made to be with Alberta, including quitting her job in the United States and giving up volunteering activities. Kelly sold her car, piano, and ended her apartment contract, using the proceeds to purchase a one-way ticket to Kenya.

“I quit my job, and I took all of my volunteering activities with the church and gave them to someone else. I sold my car. I ended my contract with my apartment. I sold my piano. I used the money from the car and piano to buy a one-way ticket to Kenya,” Kelly Joy Wanyoni explained during the interview.

Their love story, guided by what Kelly believes to be divine intervention, took a significant turn when God spoke to both of them, confirming that they were destined to marry each other.

“God told us we were meant to marry each other. …As he was speaking, God spoke to my heart and said that man is your husband,” Kelly Wanyoni recounted.

The story of Kelly and Alberta showcases a multiracial love story marked by faith, sacrifice, and a journey across continents in pursuit of true love.
