Renowned Nigerian TV show host, Frank Edoho, has come to the defense of Ayra Starr, the popular songstress, who faced heavy criticism for her interaction with Fuji/Highlife veteran, King Sunny Ade, at the Afrozons pre-Grammy party in Lagos.

After a video circulated showing Ayra Starr shaking hands with King Sunny Ade instead of prostrating as expected, she faced backlash and issued an apology on Twitter, citing difficulty in properly seeing his face. However, a man named Alfred Marshh expressed dissatisfaction with her explanation, criticizing Ayra’s physical features and labeling her as overrated.
