After a video circulated showing Ayra Starr shaking hands with King Sunny Ade instead of prostrating as expected, she faced backlash and issued an apology on Twitter, citing difficulty in properly seeing his face. However, a man named Alfred Marshh expressed dissatisfaction with her explanation, criticizing Ayra’s physical features and labeling her as overrated.
