Nigeria Has Highest Number Of Unmarried Women, Isaac Fayose Blames Them For Dollar Crisis (Video)
Media personality Isaac Fayose has stirred controversy by attributing the current dollar crisis in Nigeria to the behavior of Nigerian women.
Isaac Fayose, who is a brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, expressed his views on Arise News TV during a discussion on the topic “Is there romance without finance?”
GWG.ng reports that his comments came against the background of recent reports of the naira reaching an all-time low of N1500 against the US dollar.
Noting that Nigeria holds the record for the highest percentage of unmarried women globally, Isaac Fayose argued that the prevalence of unmarried men in their late 40s is a consequence of women adhering to the “no money, no honey” principle in modern relationships.
He suggested that this mindset contributes to financial pressure on men, affecting marriage rates and potentially influencing the economic landscape.
Sharing a personal anecdote, Isaac Fayose revealed that he became a grandfather at the age of 51, citing his 26-year-old son’s upbringing in the UK where financial concerns were less prominent.
The media personality also drew attention to the rising cases of prostate cancer, linking it to women’s increasing focus on butt enlargement. Fayose contended that this trend reflects shifting priorities among women, potentially impacting both societal norms and health outcomes.
In a surprising assertion, Isaac Fayose concluded that Nigerian women are a driving force behind the country’s dollar crisis because they have shifted away from asking men for naira.

In a related development, GWG.ng reported that the former Atiku Abubakar campaign spokesman, Reno Omokri also called on President Bola Tinubu to ban the importation of hair as part of efforts to strengthen the local currency.
Omokri made this suggestion while addressing the challenges faced by the Naira, emphasizing that Nigerians contribute significantly to its depreciation.
The controversial remarks have sparked discussions on the intersection of societal expectations, relationships, and economic dynamics in Nigeria
