Mohbad: Kemi Olunloyo Calls On Davido To Provide Information To Police
Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has urged Afrobeat artiste Davido to cooperate with the police regarding the death of fellow musician Mohbad.
Mohbad, a Nigerian singer, was tragically pronounced dead on September 12, 2023, sparking speculation and accusations surrounding the circumstances of his demise. Suspects, including Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, his father, Joseph Aloba, and the nurse who administered an injection, were all implicated in various narratives.
Five months following Mohbad’s passing, Olunloyo has pointedly called on Davido to share any pertinent information he may have regarding the case with the authorities. In a social media post, Olunloyo urged Davido to go to the Nigerian Police Force and offer any insights he possesses, rather than allowing Mohbad’s father to navigate media platforms in search of answers.
“Davido, go to @PoliceNG to tell them what you know about Mohbad’s death. Don’t keep his father running around from media to media. #GRAMMYs are over. Back to business. N2M is not enough to buy silence,” Olunloyo emphasized, hinting at potential revelations to come.

She highlighted the delays in the toxicology tests, both in Nigeria and abroad, questioning why it took five months for Mohbad’s toxicology results to be processed. Olunloyo’s statement concluded with a stern warning, asserting that all parties involved would ultimately be exposed
