Reactions As Army Locks Up Soldier Unable To Afford Transport To Visit Family

A Nigerian soldier stationed in Maiduguri, Borno State, who expressed his frustration at being unable to visit his family due to the transport fare has allegedly been locked up by the Nigerian army.

In the video, he revealed his transport to and fro his family’s location is N70,000 but his monthly salary is N50,000 and becuase of that he chose to return to the bush where he had been engaged in military operations.

The action of the Nigerian army against the soldier has sparked up reactions across the social media.

Reaction through her Instagram account, Hounton Deborah said, “let him resign because he is obviously risking his life for nothing.”
