The footage, which has since gone viral, shows the police officer stationed at a checkpoint, shamelessly admitting to forcefully collecting bribes from motorists.

In the video, the Nigerian policeman proudly recounts how his former boss would demand a share of the bribe proceeds collected by his subordinates.

He unabashedly declares that bribery is his primary source of income, likening it to a legitimate business venture. Shockingly, he questions the ethics of prominent political figures like President Bola Tinubu, Senator Adams Oshiomole, and President Muhammadu Buhari receiving salaries, implying that corruption is rampant even at the highest levels of government.

Little did the officer know that he was being recorded, exposing his corrupt practices for the world to see. The footage has sparked outrage and calls for accountability within the Nigerian police force, with many condemning the officer’s brazen disregard for the law and his duty to serve and protect.
