AFCON: Nwabali Pens Emotional Apology To Nigerians

Following the loss of the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the Elephant of Ivory Coast at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON),  Super Eagles’ Goal Keeper, Stanley Nwabali has sent a tearful apology to Nigerians.

With tears, he expressed his pain via his official Instagram handle on Sunday night saying, “A disappointing and frustrating end,  I deeply apologize to Nigerians. I was once a fan, still a fan.

“I understand how it feels giving you a disappointing night. We take full responsibility.”

Nwabali thanked Nigerians for their total support from the beginning till the end of the tournament. “Thanks for the whole support till the end. I love you,” he said.
