Valentine’s Day Marred For Lagosians On Queue For N100 Bread (Video)

Valentine’s Day popularly celebrated as a day of love was marred for some Lagosians on Wednesday morning when scores of them were flogged while queuing to collect N100 bread given as palliative.

The unfortunate situation was captured in a video and circulated on X by a shop owner in the area. 

In the video, while some Lagosians were seen in two queues struggling to collect their share of the bread, the queue got disorganized and thence attracted severe floggings from the sharers.

The man who shared the video lamented, pleading with God to intervene in the biting hunger situation in Nigeria.
