Nigerian Girl Laments Over ‘Absentee Father’ Who Is Only There Financially (Video)

A young beautiful Nigerian lady simply called Esther has taken to her TikTok handle to express how she felt frustrated about her father who according to her has been there for her financially but absent physically.

In a one minute and twenty seconds  video which she shared on her TikTok handle, she poured out her emotions saying, “I told my friends that I had a dad financially but not physically and we all laughed but it turned into a dark humour and they were like O… Esther Esther, why would you say that?”

Esther disagreeing with them said,

” I am sorry, but thinking about it, I am correct, it’s not a joke.

I had a dad financially but not physically. I don’t know how to explain it but he was never dead, my dad is not going to die in the name of Jesus.

“He wasn’t abroad, we live in the same house but I barley saw him. He was just like a humanbeing that existed passing by.”

Esther acknowledged that her father has effectively played his role of providing for her physical needs saying, “But I saw him financially; School fees was paid, provision was made. If I needed money, he sent it. 

“But physically, he never came to any school event,” she sharply pointed.

“I’m sorry I can’t recall seeing my dad in my school. I can’t recall anytime I was sick and seeing seeing my dad in the hospital.

“And I am not trying to say he wasn’t a good Father. I mean look at me, my financial needs are met, I am not hungry neither am I homeless and I think I act well, so discipline was there. I am so scared of my dad even if I did not see him.

It’s very wierd but that’s the fact, he was there financially, not physically,” she ended.
