Drama As Kidnappers Collide With Military Vehicle During Operation (Video)

A potentially harrowing kidnapping attempt took an unexpected turn in Abuja as the kidnappers found themselves thwarted by an unforeseen obstacle – a collision with a military vehicle.

The incident, captured in a video shared by @serah Ibrahim on X (formerly Twitter), unfolded in the early hours near Tophill School on Accra Street, Wuse Zone 5.

According to eyewitness Serah Ibrahim, the would-be kidnappers, operating under the guise of “one chance” operators, found their plans derailed when their vehicle collided with a military vehicle belonging to a one star army general.

As motorists became aware of the unfolding situation, they sprang into action, preventing the kidnappers from fleeing by blocking their escape route. Faced with this obstruction, the criminals attempted to evade capture by speeding along the pedestrian way. However, the kidnappers’ efforts were in vain as they collided with the military vehicle while trying to rejoin the Abuja road.

The impact of the collision was significant, leaving both vehicles damaged. Despite their attempts to flee on foot, the kidnappers were swiftly apprehended by the vigilant crowd, with some attempting to jump over a nearby fence.

However, amidst the chaos, the mob’s anger threatened to escalate, prompting intervention to prevent the kidnappers from facing mob justice. Currently, the suspects are in police custody, their nefarious plans foiled by a stroke of fortune and timely military presence
