Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Nwabali Gets Chieftaincy Title (Video)
Sensational Super Eagles’ Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has been confered with a chieftancy title of Ugo Ebgema 1 by his royal majesty Evaristus Amuda of Nze Obi of Egbema, chairman ONELGA traditional rulers council.
A viral video online captured Nwabili receiving the honouring welcome from his kinsmen in Onelga Local Government Area in Rivers state.
Nwabali became a sensation after earning Nigeria a place in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final after saving two penalties in a 4-2 successful shootout over South Africa.
The love showered on him by his kinsmen and the chieftancy title confered on him, comes as a big relief to Nwabali who mourned after Nigeria’s defeat to Ivory Coast at the 2023 AFCON.
