Uzamere Hails Ighodalo, Gives Him Important Campaign Advice

Senator Ehigie Uzamere has congratulated Mr Asue Ighodalo on his emergence as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State.

In a message of congratulations made available to GWG.ng Senator Uzamere who represented the Edo South Senatorial District between 2007 and 2015 on the platforms of the PDP and the defunct ACN nevertheless urged Ighodalo to immediately commence reconciliation with aggrieved party interests ahead of the main election.

Senator Uzamere said:

“To God be all glory and honour for your emergence as the governorship candidate our Party, PDP, in the forthcoming governorship election in our State.

“This is another milestone secured on your journey to Osadebe House, which, in my heart and belief, you’d be the next official occupant.

“I am confident of your capacity to bring Edo State further up on the ladder of development, hence my pledge to give you maximum support on the electioneering journey ahead.

“I make of you, this one request, that you commence immediately a personal process of reconciliation with aggrieved party members irrespective of factions. Do not wait for the Party’s initiative. You can not afford to go into electioneering trenches with a divided house,” Uzamere said in the message to Ighodalo.
