‘Star Of The Past’ Daddy Freeze Mocks In Latest Clash With Eedris Abdulkareem
Tension flared again in the latest clash of words between Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster, radio talk show host cum social media influencer, Ifedayo Olarinde, famously known as Daddy Freeze, and veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem.
The feud ignited when Daddy Freeze fact-checked Abdulkareem’s claims during a controversial podcast interview. This move seemingly irked Abdulkareem, prompting him to retaliate with a snippet of a rap song targeting the radio host.
In the snippet, Abdulkareem lashed out, criticizing those who defend politicians while condemning Daddy Freeze for his critique of pastors despite associating with fraudsters.
Responding to Abdulkareem’s diss track, Daddy Freeze took a humorous approach, releasing his own rap song. In his rebuttal, he advised Abdulkareem to move on from the past, suggesting that his talent was now “on life support” and “too weak” to make an impact in the current music scene.
Mockingly, Daddy Freeze highlighted that Abdulkareem’s relevance had diminished, stating that nobody was listening to his music anymore and labeling him as a “star of the past.” He conveyed this message through a video shared on his Instagram page, emphasizing the shift in era and the fading relevance of Abdulkareem’s career.
The exchange between the two personalities reflects the ongoing clash between traditional and contemporary viewpoints in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, highlighting the power dynamics and shifting dynamics within the sector.
