Lagos is assumed to be a mega city that accommodates different kinds of people from various parts of the country and beyond. Despite its accommodating nature there are some people that residents of the city must be careful in dealing with because of their antecedents.

The following are the five people you must know how to handle, if possible avoid them because of their activities.

House agents

They manage property, especially houses for landlords. Several  accommodation seekers who had  gone to pateronise their assistance  in  getting  accommodation ended up regretting their action  because of their character of  either charging their clients  more higher than what the  landlord  demanded or their failure to remit the money collected to house owners.

Omoniles

The Omoniles are the traditional land owners who sell land to investors. In a city like Lagos, they posed a lot of influence and people must be careful in dealing with them. Many people complain about their activities especially in selling a piece of land to more than one person.

LASTMA officials

Lagos State Traffic Management, LASTMA, is the agency responsible for the management of traffic in Lagos State.  Some overzealous officials have caused untold hardship to motorists in the state.

  Policemen

Policemen are expected to maintain law and order in the society but, in Lagos some police officers used their privilege positions to molest and torture innocent citizens. This attitude led to endsars protests that engulfed most part of the country in October 2020.

 Yellow taxi drivers

Before the launching of Bus Rapid Transport, BRT, some years ago by the Fashola led administration, activities of yellow taxi cab were burdensome to many residents of Lagos. They charge exorbitantly for their services for those who do not want to patronize Molue buses.
