Gunmen Kill PDP Treasurer, Kidnap Newlywed Couple

In a sorrowful twist of fate, suspected gunmen unleashed terror in Sokoto State on Friday night, claiming the life of Alhaji Nafi’u Tambari Dagawa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Treasurer in Yabo Local Government area.

According to reports, the assailants, under the cover of darkness, raided Dagawa community around 2 am, brutally murdering the PDP chieftain at his residence. Shockingly, they also abducted a newlywed couple, presumably for ransom, leaving the community reeling from the unprecedented violence.

Amidst the chaos, several individuals sustained gunshot wounds, highlighting the magnitude of the attack and its devastating impact on the community.
