Francis Ngannou Apologizes To Fans After Knockout Loss to Anthony Joshua
Francis Ngannou, the former UFC champion has issued a heartfelt apology to his fans following his knockout defeat by Anthony Joshua on Friday night.
Joshua delivered a devastating performance, flooring Ngannou in the opening round with a powerful right hand, followed by another knockdown early in the second round with a combination of precise right and left hooks.
Despite Ngannou’s valiant efforts to rise, he was unable to withstand Joshua’s relentless assault and was knocked down once again by a forceful right hand, prompting the referee to intervene and stop the contest.
In the aftermath of the defeat, Franics Ngannou took to the microblogging platform X to express his remorse for disappointing his fans. He reaffirmed his commitment to bounce back from what he described as “a bad day at the office.”
“Sorry guys I let you all down. Today was a bad day in the office but tomorrow will be another day. Thank you all for the love,” Ngannou wrote.
