Akpabio and Fubara

Pastor Peter Bawo who delivered the sermon at the burial of the deceased Herbert Wigwe has taken sides with Governor Simi Fubara against Senator Godswill Akpabio over the vanity of life’s struggles on earth.

GWG.ng reports that Senator Akpabio had countered Fubara after the governor had in his address at the funeral lamented the vanity of life’s struggles.

GWG.ng reports that Governor Fubara’s words, which touched on the struggles of life, had sparked a response from Senate President Akpabio.

Apparently noting the struggles of Governor Fubara against his political benefactor, Nyesom Wike, Akpabio had said: “Your Excellency, Governor Fubara, if there is nothing in the struggle, don’t struggle.“

However, Pastor Bawo saw merit in the governor’s message, emphasizing the universal truth that material wealth and possessions hold no significance in the face of mortality.

Addressing the gathered mourners, Pastor Bawo reiterated the fundamental principle that every individual, regardless of their status or wealth, would depart from this world empty-handed. He emphasized the inevitability of the struggle in life, asserting that everyone would ultimately transcend it.
