The incident, captured in a video circulating on Instagram, depicts Pastor Odumeje engaging in a casual chat with a young boy estimated to be between 8 to 10 years old. However, tensions quickly escalated when Pastor Odumeje mispronounced the word “silver” as “sriver,” prompting the young boy to offer a correction.

In response, Pastor Odumeje reprimanded the child, disparagingly referring to him as an “illiterate.” He then proceeded to question the boy about his academic performance, specifically asking about his position in school and the last time he achieved a first position in class.
