Mohbad: Falana Reportedly Mulling Withdrawing Representation (Video)

Renowned human rights activist Femi Falana has purportedly stepped back from his role in representing the family of the late Nigerian artiste, Mohbad, amidst a backdrop of escalating family disputes and conflicting statements.

In a recently surfaced recording, an unidentified individual claimed that Falana’s law firm faced prolonged challenges due to the behavior of Mohbad’s family. The recording alleged that the family’s interactions with various media outlets resulted in contradictory statements, impeding the progress of seeking justice for the deceased.

The recording also highlighted tensions within Mohbad’s family, particularly between patriarch Aloba and his daughter-in-law Wunmi, suggesting a bitter feud between the two parties. Accusations and legal actions have been exchanged, with Aloba accusing Wunmi of attempted harm, while Wunmi has retaliated by initiating legal proceedings against her father-in-law for defamation.

Furthermore, the individual in the recording alleged that such family disputes were deemed commonplace by the court and urged Falana not to withdraw from the case, citing his esteemed reputation.
