Dino Melaye Claps Back at Critics Over N35m Car Port
Former Kogi West Senatorial District Senator, Dino Melaye has addressed the backlash arising from his construction of an automated car port, reportedly valued at N35 million, to accommodate his fleet of 13 luxury vehicles.
GWG.ng reports that Melaye’s decision to build the extravagant car port sparked widespread criticism from Nigerians, who accused him of vanity and questioned the source of his wealth.
In what appears to be a response to his detractors, Melaye took to social media to assert his stance. He wrote, “Unfortunately, you can’t unmade what God has made, and you can’t take away what God has given. Eyah, no vex.”

Melaye made the statement as he retorted to the barrage of criticisms leveled against him, suggesting that he remains undeterred by public opinion and stands firm in his decisions.
Melaye’s lavish lifestyle and ostentatious display of wealth have often drawn scrutiny from the public, with many questioning the transparency and legitimacy of his financial affairs.
While the former Senator’s response may not quell the controversy surrounding his opulent car port, it shows his resilience in the face of public scrutiny and reinforces his unapologetic stance on matters of personal luxury
