Renowned Nigerian Filmmaker Frank Igho Vaughan Is Dead
Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan, a distinguished Nigerian filmmaker and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), has tragically passed away. Vaughan, a native of Delta State, breathed his last in Warri on Tuesday following a prolonged illness.
The sorrowful news was confirmed by his younger brother, Philip Okpokoro, who is a cinematographer and serves as a series director for the popular ‘Nigerian Idols’ reality TV show.
Vaughan’s legacy in the Nigerian film industry is profound, as he was widely respected for his directorial talents and his significant contributions to shaping the industry.
