Sultan Gives Date For Eid-El-Fitr
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar who is also the head of all Muslims in Nigeria has declared that the celebration of Eid-el-fitr will hold on Wednesday, April 10. This development follows the fact that the new moon was not sighted in the country on Monday as expected.
By this measure, the fasting is expected to continue to Tuesday, April 9.
