Aisha Yesufu Mocks El-Rufai And Yahaya Bello Over Troubles

Prominent socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has ridiculed Nasir El-Rufai and Yahaya Bello, former governors of Kaduna and Kogi States respectively, for their current challenges.

Yesufu expressed on her X handle that Nigerian politicians believe their tenure of eight years in power is everlasting.

She wrote: “To Nigerian Politicians, 8 years is FOREVER!

Little do they know!

I laugh in ElRufai and Yahaya Bello.”

This statement comes in response to the attempted arrest of Yahaya Bello, followed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declaring him wanted for economic and financial crimes.

Bello is wanted in connection with an alleged case of money laundering to the tune of N80.2 billion.

Previously, the EFCC had informed a Federal High Court in Abuja about the potential involvement of the Nigerian Army in apprehending Bello, should it be deemed necessary.
