BREAKING: Keyamo Directs Suspension Of Dana Air Operations

The minister of aviation Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN has directed the immediate suspension of the operations of Dana Airlines pending a comprehensive audit of the fleet of the airline.

GWG.ng reports that the directive follows the crashlanding of the airline’s plane from at the Lagos airport on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

The directive to suspend the operations of the airline was conveyed by the permanent secretary, Dr Emmanuel Meribole to the director general of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NACA.

In the letter sighted by GWG.ng, Keyamo said that the order to suspend the operations of the airline was upon repeated reports of mishaps by the airline.
